Roger A. Barr

Roger A. Barr, 83, of Marine, died Monday, April 1, 2019 at his residence.

He was born January 26, 1936 in Mounds, Arkansas, the son of the late Rese and Zelma (Cluck) Barr. He married Barbara Talley in 1956. She survives.

Also surviving are four children: Jeffery (Brenda) Barr of Jacksonville, Florida, David Barr of Marine, Christy (Robert) McCabe of Williamson and Scott Dwayne Barr of Staunton; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and an extended family including several brothers and sisters.

Besides his parents, Mr. Barr was preceded in death by three sisters.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 3 at Metro East Assembly of God in Collinsville.

Burial followed at Marine City Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Kalmer Memorial Services in Lebanon was in charge of arrangements.
