Patricia “Pat” Orr Zahn

Patricia L. “Pat” Orr Zahn Mayfield, 67, of Caseyville, born Saturday, December 15, 1951 in East St. Louis, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville.

Patricia had many interests to name a few, cooking, baking, camping, watching Hallmark movies, Star Trek, putting puzzles together and was an avid Farmville gamer. She loved the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Those who knew her will remember a conversation starter “and that” and many times ended with “son of a biscuit eater”.

Surviving are her husband Chuck Mayfield of Caseyville; children, Gary N. (Dana) Zahn of Oklahoma, Katherine (Richard) Shaffer of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Jim (Jeni) Zahn of Brentwood, Tennessee and Aaron (Amanda) Zahn of Highland, grandchildren, Brett and Brent Bielong, Jacob, Caleb, Brady, Lucas and Jonah Zahn, Kevin Zahn, Jarod, Tamie and Tommy Durham; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dell Orr of Caseyville, James Orr Jr of Iowa, Ronald (Tina) Orr of Pierron; sister-in-laws, Cindy Orr of Bailey, Texas and Chris Orr of Iowa; aunt, cousin and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James A. Sr. and Genevieve L (nee Lindsey) Orr; brothers Jack and Raleigh Zahn; and a sister-in-law, Donna Orr.

Celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 18, starting at 7 p.m. with Rev. Charles West officiating. Interment will be private.
