Gwain E. Marron

Gwain E. Marron, 61, of Caseyville, born Sunday, November 3, 1957 in St. Louis, and passed on Friday, June 14, 2019 at his home in Caseyville,  surrounded by his loving family.

Gwain attended Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville. He played keyboard and drums with the bands Vinnie and the Orphans and the Insomniacs. Gwain taught classes at Rankin Technical School in St. Louis for many years. He loved his family, his children and was proud to be called grandpa.

He is survived by his wife, Lori (nee Nicholas) Marron of Caseyville, ; his daughters, Erica (Ray) Guillen of Exeter, California, Britt (Jayson) Burkard of St. Louis, Casie (Joseph) Parker of Parkton, North Carolina and Hillary (Adam Aguilar) Marron of Fresno, California; grandchildren, Parker, Lucas, Mya, Nolan, Owen, Ivy, Harper, Grant, Amber, Lauryn and Adam; his father, George E. Marron of Des Peres, Missouri; mother, Mary Rosalyn (nee Beller) Marron of Highland; sister, Rondlynn Marron of Spring Lake, Michigan; brothers, George E. (Phyllis) Marron III of Highland, and Glenn (Beth) Marron of Spring Hills, Tennessee; brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 am Saturday, June 22, 2019 at St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church in Marine, with Fr. Paul Habing officiating. A reception and continued fellowship will follow in St. Elizabeth’s fellowship hall following the mass.

Richeson Funeral Home in Troy was in charge of arrangements.
