After another week of play, Maryville 2 suffered their first loss to Troy 6 in a 7-6 contest, which left Collinsville 6 as the lone undefeated team in the league and atop the American League. Maryville 2 is still well within striking distance still of them, and Troy 6 is close behind.
On average, American League teams are only trailing the team ahead of them in the standings by 0.65 games, so these final games may prove critical for playoff seeding.
The National League is still headed by Collinsville 3, with a closely trailing Collinsville 5 behind them. Both Maryville 1 and Dupo 1 have rallied recently to jump up to the third and fourth spots, respectively.
The National League is still very up for grabs and likely to shift as all of the top 9 teams are within 4 games of each other with a little under a week of the regular season to go.
