Fickert To Leave On Honor Flight This Month

The Times-Tribune learned this past week that a second serviceman this month will be leaving soon on an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C.

Selected to take the flight is James R. Fickert, who will leave for the nation’s capitol on August 20. In our Aug. 8 edition we reported on an Honor Flight trip planned for Navy Veteran Ron Range, who leaves on Sept. 24. 

Fickert lives on Longhi Road in rural Madison County between Collinsville and Troy.

Organizers of the Honor Flights seek to honor veterans with a day of honor, remembrance and celebration.
