Election Still On March 17
County clerk Deborah Ming-Mendoza said “The precautions we are taking meet the requirements that the CDC has told you and I. In fact I meet with the CDC every day for an update. At the polls we follow the safety precautions:
• handwashing as much as possible using hand sanitizer.
* Wiping down the surfaces. * Trying to keep social distance of at least four feet. With the tables where our judges sit that is easy to do.
• No handshaking or hugging.
• If you sneeze, cover your nose.
“There is no vaccine,” she said. “There are no opportunities for testing at the polls.”
