Free COVID-19 Testing Available On Tuesday July 7 In Glen Carbon

Mobile community-based COVID-19 testing will be available on Tuesday, July 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lower-level parking lot at Glen Carbon Village Hall, 151 North Main Street. This is a walk-up, not drive-through testing site.

This is free and open to the public – adults and children over 6 months old. No appointment is needed. Masks are required. Participants should bring a photo ID and health insurance card if they have them.

Testing is done using a shallow nose swab, not a deep swab of the nose and throat – which means it should not be uncomfortable. The event is sponsored by the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville School of Nursing, SIHF Healthcare, the SIU School of Medicine and the Madison County Health Department.
