Collinsville Unit 10 To Begin Year With Hybrid Learning

Collinsville School District Unit 10 Superintendent Dr. Mark Skertich announced on the school district’s YouTube channel Thursday morning that most students would be going back to school in a hybrid format. Dr. Skertich said parents should be prepared to switch to full in person

Mondays will be hybrid days for all students. Mondays were selected to keep the schedule consistent since most holidays are on Mondays. These days will be used for social-emotional engagement with at-risk students, preview of week’s topics, individual conferences with remote only learners and packet pick-up drop off for those unable to do online learning.

Pre-K/Early Childhood and Career and Technical Education students will go to school Tuesday through Friday and  special education, English Language Learners, and resource students will be given priority to attend in school instruction on those days.

Tuesdays and Thursdays will be in person learning days for students whose last name begins with A-L and Wednesdays and Fridays students with last names beginning M-Z will attend.
