Glen Carbon Employee Tests Positive For COVID-19

A Glen Carbon public works employee has recently reported a positive test result for COVID-19.

The village of Glen Carbon has taken the necessary steps to maintain the health and safety of its employees and the village according to a press release from the village. Additionally the Madison County Department of Public Health has been notified and the village is cooperating fully with the department to ensure the village takes the requisite measures for the safety of its staff and residences.  The public works department is operational and will maintain essential governmental services, the press release said.

It thanked the residents of Glen Carbon for their patience and consideration as the village works through this public health issue..
