Larraine Hall

Larraine Mae Hall, 85, of Troy died on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Glen Carbon, surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 10, 1935 in Detroit, MI to George and Frances nee:  Wolzcek Artero.

Larraine married Buddy Boy Hall in Michigan and he preceded her in death in 2001.

The loving mother and grandmother worked as a CNA at nursing homes and in home health for many years. She was a very organized person who enjoyed reading, flowers and feeding humming birds.  Larraine cared for others and was the neighborhood watch in her neighborhood.  She loved her cat and was affectionately known as “Honeybear” to her friends and family.

Larraine is survived by a daughter, Debra Meyer of Glen Carbon; 4 grandchildren:  Jeremy Hall, Breanna Hall, Ashton Hall and Crishaena Meyer; 3 great grandchildren; a brother, George (Linda) Artero of MI and 3 sisters:  Ann Ziga of MI, Betty (Wayne) Murphree of MI and Rosemary Uberti of MI.

Besides her husband and parents, Larraine is preceded in death by a son, Michael Hall; a brother, James Artero and a sister, Evelyn Stommel.
