Laura “Ann” Bugger

Laura “Ann” Bugger, 87, of Collinsville,, born Monday, August 7, 1933 in Beaumont, CA, and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at her home in Collinsville.

Ann was a long time member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.   

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. “Chuck” Bugger whom she married March 7, 1953 in Riverside, CA and he passed away September 6, 2018; Son-in-laws, Mike Mattea and Kevin Evans; daughter-in-law, Donna Bugger; parents, Edward Blackshear and Jessie Berry (nee Minick) Coalson; brothers, Stan Coalson, Edward Coalson, Thomas Coalson; sisters, Margaret Sams, and Mary Jane Coalson; sister-in-law, Ellie Coalson; and her brother-in-law, Bob Hannah.

Surviving are her children, Cathy Jo Mattea of St. Jacob, Ted (Tammy) Bugger of Grafton, Ned (Margie) Bugger of Highland,, Matt (Kelly) Bugger of Highland, Steve (Allison) Bugger of Highland, Chris (Elaine) Bugger of Smithton, Peggy (Ric) Evans Piseno of Yuma, AZ, Charles (Kay) Bugger of Bozeman, MT, Terry (Brian) Kelley of Round Lake Beach, IL and Mark (Vicki) Bugger of Edwardsville; thirty-nine grandchildren; fifty-two great grandchildren and two on the way; one great great-grandson; and one honorary daughter and grandchild; sister, Lois Hannah of Palm Springs, CA; and a sister-in-law, Evie Coalson of Beaumont, CA; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends may call 5 to 8 pm on Monday, October 26, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, and on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 9:30 to 10:30 am at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic church, Collinsville, with Fr. John Beveridge officiating.  Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Shiloh.

Richeson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
