Barbara Coonce

Barbara S. Coonce, 74, of Troy, born Tuesday, June 4, 1946 in Centerville and passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at her home in Troy, IL.

Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family.  She had fun teaching the grandkids to play bingo and card games.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles E. Bequette; daughter, Judy Latner;  parents, Joseph Bernard and Beaddie Lucille (nee Byrd) Daugherty; brothers, Joseph B and William Daugherty; sisters Donna Carter and Connie Crippen; and son-in-law Tom Caraker.

Surviving are her children, Norma Caraker of Troy, Darryl (Laura) Bequette of Nebo, William Bequette of Belleville,  and James Bequette of Enid, OK; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bruce Stone of Biloxi, MS; and sisters, Beverly Asher of Park Hills, MO and Bonnie Hammontree of Dupo; her cat Pepper; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Barb requested private services and for her friends and family to go play bingo and enjoy some laughter in her memory.
