James Stokes

James K. Stokes Sr., 69, of Troy, born Friday, November 16, 1951 in Kansas City, MO and passed away on January 31, 2021 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville.

James served his country in the United States Marine Corps. and was a member of American Legion, Albers, and Marine Corp League.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Kathryn (Amos) Stokes.

Surviving are his children, James K. Stokes Jr. of Leavenworth, KS, Aiyana Ruth Stokes and Chenoa Mikahlua Stokes both of Troy; grandchildren, Haley, Winona and Peyton Stokes; sisters, Kathleen (John) Gantenbein of Bend, OR, Kahla Amos of Tacoma, WA and Paula Apodaca, San Fernando, CA; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

COVID-19 restrictions will be followed, masks required, and social distancing.  Please be respectful of time and do not linger so others may pay their respects to the family.
