Carl Strom

Carl Andrew Strom, 73, of Mission, TX, formerly of Troy,  born Sunday, September 22, 1946 in St. Louis, and passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 in Mission, TX.

Carl was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 9266, Troy. Carl was a member of the Troy volunteer Fire Department, retiring with 22 years of faithful service. He then served the Troy Fire Protection District as a Trustee for 24 years.

He was preceded in death by a son, Brian Strom; his parents, William J. and Madrine (nee Kline) Strom; his brothers, Robert and Paul Strom and a brother-in-law, Kevin Kurt Brown.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years Doneise (nee Brown) Strom of Mission, TX; children, Jeffrey Strom of Prophetstown, Brent (Laura) Strom of Troy, and Tawny (Gregory) Drysdale of Highland; grandchildren, Morgan (Jorden) Ekstrom, Cole and Tyler Strom and Emma, Ella and Ethan Drysdale; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Friends may call 10 to 11 am on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy.

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, with Fr. Kevin Laughery officiating.  Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Black Jack.
