Jason Scott Frost

Jason Scott Frost, of St. Jacob, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the age of 48 after a month-long battle with COVID-19.

Jason worked for over 25 years at Trouw Nutrition in Highland, and was a member of Troy United Methodist Church. He had a strong love for his country and enjoyed 4th of July fireworks. He loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and Uncle Bob. Jason was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors alike. After a hard day’s work, he enjoyed nothing more than working with a neighboring farmer in the fields or fishing with a buddy.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cortez “Jack” and Frances (nee Block) Frost and Leo and Frances Johnston; his aunt, Patricia Marlen.

Surviving are his parents, Jerry G. and Kathleen (nee Johnston) of St. Jacob, his brother, Jerry M. (Kristen) Frost of St. Louis, MO; his nieces, Grace and Elise Frost; uncles, Robert Johnston of Edwardsville and Roger Marlen of Dupo; aunt, Mary Kay Kuegler of Fairview Heights; cousins and many friends.

Family and friends will gather from 1 to 1:30 pm on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Troy United Methodist Church, Troy.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:30 pm on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Troy United Methodist Church, Troy, with Rev. Andy Adams officiating.

Richeson Funeral Home, Troy is in charge of the arrangements.
