Leads Sought In Game Card Theft

The Troy Police Department is currently investigating a burglary that occurred at Realms of Gaming, 300 Edwardsville Road,Suite #6 in Troy.

On Monday, October 11 at approximately 3:17 a.m., a male subject forced his way into Realms of Gaming.

Wearing a mask that covered his entire head and face, dark pants and dark tennis shoes, he stole in excess of $100,000 worth of various Magic the Gathering, and other playing cards, items and memorabilia. The suspect also caused in excess of $10,000.00 worth of damage to the store.

Store owners and staff from Realms of Gaming are assisting the Troy Police Department with identifying all the stolen items as well as providing any information they receive.

The Troy Police Department is currently working with surrounding law enforcement agencies in this case and believe the suspect was specifically targeting stores that sold cards and items like those available for purchase at Realms of Gaming.
