Gladys Schiefer

Gladys Schiefer, 81, of St. Jacob, born Wednesday, July 10, 1940 in Highland, and passed away on Friday, February, 11, 2022 at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Gladys attended St. Jacob United Church of Christ, St. Jacob.  She enjoyed her yard work and the fish pond and fountain.  Gladys enjoyed going to a good auction, collecting memorabilia and was the family historian.  She was and honorary member of St. Jacob Lion’s always supportive of the clubs activities.  Gladys loved her family and the times they spent together.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Opal (nee Nungesser) Keilbach.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Schiefer of St. Jacob; her daughter, Crystal (Randy Harris) Schiefer of St. Louis, MO; a granddaughter, Morgan Miller; and her fur grands, Slater and Mac; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation for Gladys will be 5 to 8 pm on Thursday, February 17, and 10 to 11 am Friday, February 18, 2022 at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home, St. Jacob.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, February 18, 2022 at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home, St. Jacob, with Rev. Philip Barbier officiating.  Interment will be in Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob.
