William Baka
William Henry Baka, 74, of O’Fallon, was born January 10, 1948, in Ashland, WI, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon.
After high school, William served in the U.S. Army before he began his career in carpentry. He was a member of the O’Fallon VFW Post #805, O’Fallon Sportsmen’s Club, and an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and gardening vegetables. He also enjoyed woodworking, cooking, and baking.
William was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Ann Baka (nee Sefick); and his two brothers, Dennis and Bob Baka.
William is survived by his beloved wife, Dianna Baka (nee Minor) of O’Fallon; two children, Kevin (Wendy) Baka of Troy and Heather (Jake) Smith of Troy; three sisters, Shelly (Cliff) Roberts of Wisconsin, Jennifer Micheli of Florida, and Mary Brinkley of Illinois; and three grandchildren, Collin Baka, Rylee Baka, and Mason Smith.
