Message From Troy City Manager Jay Keeven

Over the past few months, we have received numerous complaints regarding the Troy Post Office failing to deliver city utility bills in a timely manner.  All utility bills are mailed at the end of the month and are due on the 15th of the following month.  If you have not received your bill in a timely manner, please contact our office before the 15h of  the month and our staff will assist you in making your payment to avoid late fees.

We have 2 properties in Troy and it’s a crap shoot which one we get and which one we don’t. Right now I have one and not the other. We set up direct pay last month after we got a shut off notice because of the mess.

I did not receive my bill but I found it online to get the amount due. This is not the only problem with our mail service. My neighbors and I are constantly getting each other’s mail! We have contacted the post office several times but nothing is done. I have to wonder how much of my mail is going to other people that I know nothing about. It is very frustrating!!
