DeLores “Tommie” M. Poletti

DeLores “Tommie” M. Poletti, 92, of Troy, IL, born Monday, Jan. 20, 1930 in Collinsville, IL and passed away on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022 at River Crossing Home in Edwardsville, IL.

DeLores was the wife of a farmer and raised seven children. She was a faithful member of St. Jerome Catholic Church and sang in the church choir for many years. She enjoyed gardening, reading, playing games, traveling, and a night out to hear live music. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Preceded in death: husband, Ray Poletti, married Sept. 10, 1949 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, IL; parents, William and Anna (nee Baladenski)Thomas; brother, William Thomas.

Surviving are her seven children, Karen Camp of Troy,IL, Ron Poletti of Troy, IL, Donna (Brad) Maes of Edwardsville, IL, Jim (Sandy) Poletti of Makanda, IL, Tina (Brian) Rehg of St. Jacob, IL, Steve Poletti of Troy, IL, Brenda Poletti of San Francisco, CA; grandchildren, Amy (Jim) Ryan, Katheryn (Michael) Barton, Beth (Eric) Wolfmeier, Phil (Stephanie) Poletti, Jake Maes. Jeremy (Melissa) Maes, Jill Maes, Joe Poletti, David Poletti, Bridgette (Michael Cruz) Rehg, Jason (Brianne) Rehg; great-grandchildren, Sophie Poletti, Thomas Ryan, Delores Barton, Isabelle, George, and Olivia Wolfmeier, Julianna Poletti and Rowen Rehg; cousin, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Visitation for Tommie will be held 9:30 am to 11 am on Friday, October 21, 2022 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Friday at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL with Fr. Kevin Laughery officiating.  interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Black Jack, IL
