Veterans Day Parade Sunday

VFW Post 976 is hosting its annual Veterans Day Parade and ceremony at 1 p.m. Sunday. 

The parade route will begin at city hall and continue to the park memorial where there will be a small ceremony to honor and celebrate our military veterans. There will be special guest appearances that are scheduled to speak as well.   

After the parade and ceremony, there will be refreshments served at the VFW headquarters, according to Tony Avers, post commander. The post is located on 123 West Market Street.
