Collinsville girls bowlers get the best of Alton

On Jan. 16, Collinsville beat Alton 39-1 at Camelot Bowl to move to 8-2 on the season.
Emily Dahl had the Kahoks high score with a 243 and a 189.
“If you’re scoring in the 400’s for two games that’s a pretty good set,” said CHS coach Sean Hay. “It was nice to see because she’s been struggling earlier this year
Laila Jaoko rolled 213 and 212 in her final two games of the day.
Caici Buckman rolled a 201 for her high game.
The girls traveled to the Viking Invitational hosted by Rockford (Guilford) Saturday at The Cherry Bowl. They came back to the Metro East with a fifth place finish however at press time the results were unavailable. Look for those results next week in the Times-Tribune.
