Collinsville grapplers sweep through both matches

It was a dominant week for the Collinsville boys wrestling team as they won both of their matches by big scores. 

CHS 60 EAWR 13

On Jan. 27, the Kahoks beat East Alton (Wood River) at Fletcher Gym.

Stephen Stewart, Cody Lutz, and Michael Tongay all recorded pins with Lutz setting the standard for the fastest pin at 59 seconds.

CHS 60 Granite City 24

The Kahoks beat Granite on Jan. 26 in Granite City.

Lutz, Mason Hare, Noah Porter, Nathan Cagg, and Devin Habermehl all won their matches via pinfall. Hare had the quickest fall of the night at 1:56.

Upcoming Schedule

The Kahoks are off until this weekend when they take part in the IHSA Class 3A Alton Regional.
