The Collinsville High girls basketball team concluded their season on Feb. 14 with a 45-39 loss to Quincy in the first round of the Class 4A Alton Regional.
CHS was up 18-15 at the half but couldn’t maintain that advantage in the second half.
The Kahoks had two players in double figures with Jenna Scheller scoring 11 points while Talesha Gilmore put in 10.
Katie Bardwell had nine rebounds while Gilmore and Scheller had seven.
Megan Janson had eight points and five assists.
Collinsville ended their season at 14-18 overall. Quincy finished at 20-12 after they fell in the championship game 58-31 to Alton. The Redbirds stood at 31-1 after winning their first regional since 1985.
