Josh was at home and enjoyed working with Aggressive Graphics in Highland, IL. He graduated from Triad High School Class of “22”. He enjoyed drifting, dirt track racing and hanging with his friends. Most of all he loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Patricia Melton; and his uncle Tony Johnson.
He is survived by his parents, Brenda Johnson and Aaron (Stefani Cannon) Melton; his sisters, Haley (Brett) Heinz and Mariah (Logan Hilpert) Melton; step-brother William Fetsch; step-sister, Abby Fetsch; nieces and nephews, Clairissa Hilpert, Chloey, Brooks and Luna Heinz and Brecklynn Hicks; grandparents, Rich and Barbara Johnson; aunts and uncles, Loren (Joann) Melton, Brian Melton, Dean Melton, Dale (Laura) Gardner, Rick Gardner, Sheryll (Scott) Rider, Donna (Steve) Tebbe, Lisa (Tim) Driscoll, Rick (Sherry) Johnson, Jody (Lisa) Johnson, Jeff (Peggy) Johnson and Carla Johnson; many cousins and lots of friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Friday at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home, St. Jacob, IL, with Rev. Dan Perry officiating. Interment will be in Highland City Cemetery, Highland, IL.
