Triad tennis added five wins to their resume over the course of last week.
Three of those wins came at the Triad Invitational, resulting in the Knights winning the home event.
The Knights opened play at the April 8 event with a matchup with East Peoria. Triad won 5-0 in their battle with the Raiders.
Eight different Knights contributed to the victory over their Mid-Illini opponent. Those victorious Knights were Andrew Carter, Joe Cass, Marc Froidcoeur, Dillon Henderson, Caden Little, AJ Mills, Ethan Stewart and Jake Stewart.
Next up to face Triad was the East Aurora Battlehawks. The upstate visitors have a total school enrollment of 3672 students.
The Knights won the matchup in 4-1 fashion. Jake Stewart and Henderson led that effort with a win from number one doubles and more wins were contributed by Cass, Carter, Froidcoeur, Little and Mills.
Triad closed out their day with a 4-1 victory over Richland County, who hail from Olney.
Against the Tigers, Henderson and Carter won in number one doubles. Cass, Froidcoeur, Little, Mills and Ethan Stewart all secured victories as well.
The day prior to the invitational, Triad battled with Batavia. The Bulldogs are a member of the Dukane conference and boast an enrollment of 1939 students.
Triad proved victorious against their northern foes, doing so by an 8-4 tally. Jake Stewart teamed with Henderson to win at the top doubles spot and later won atop the singles competition.
Cass, Carter, Froidcoeur, Little, Mills and Ethan Stewart added on wins as well.
The Knights also hosted Mascoutah earlier the week on April 4.
Triad won decisively over their Mississippi Valley foes in an 8-1 affair. Cass, Carter, Henderson, Little, Mills, Ethan Stewart and Jake Stewart all added to the win total.
