Triad boys tennis continues to add to their win total.
That included five victories from April 22 on their home court against a variety of foes.
One of their victories came against St. Louis University High School, who hailed from Missouri. The Knights won 3-1 in that matchup.
Jake Stewart won from the top singles spot in their across state lines battle, while Joe Cass added another win from singles play. Ethan Stewart and AJ Mills also aided in the victory.
No other team took a point against the Knights, including Streator. Their northern Illinois foes are members of the Illinois Central Eight.
Andrew Carter and Ethan Stewart defeated the Bulldogs from the top doubles position. Atop the singles side, Jake Stewart also secured a win for the Knights.
Quincy, who has an enrollment over 1700, also fell to Triad. The Blue Devils fell 4-0 in their matchup with the home team.
Dillon Henderson and Marc Froidcouer teamed up to down the Western Big Six squad’s top doubles team and Jake Stewart did the same in singles play. Caden Little, Cass and Mills also tallied wins against the Blue Devils.
Competing against another Western Big Six team, Moline, Triad added another 4-0 victory.
Froidcoeur and Henderson led the doubles charge again and Jake Stewart continued his dominance in singles play. Ethan Stewart, Cass and Mills also proved victorious against the Maroons.
The Knights also secured a 4-0 win over St. Anthony. Andrew Carter, Ethan Stewart, Jake Stewart, Henderson, Froidcoeur and Cass won in their battle against the Effingham private school.
