CHS had four big innings in five times at bat as they exploded for 23 hits to win at East St. Louis 21-1 in five innings on May 4.
It was Collinsville’s third conference win of the season and fourth overall.
Addie Stone and Paulie Schreiber each went 4 for 4 while Lexi Rafalowski also collected four hits.
Lilly Fuehner and Aubrey Mason each had three hits while Marissa Thomas collected two.
Katie Bardwell, Keagan Edwards and Brittany Sarginson had one base knock apiece.
Schreiber had a pair of doubles, five RBI and scored five runs while Fuehner had two doubles and two RBI.
Stone collected a triple and four RBI while Mason had two RBI and Sarginson had one.
The Kahoks were walked nine times.
Marissa Thomas was in the circle for the Kahoks tossing a complete game while giving up five hits and zero earned runs. She walked one and struck out nine.
Alton 5 CHS 0
Alton scored one run in the first and tacked on with a pair of runs in each of the final two innings to take a 5-0 win in Collinsville on May 2.
The Kahoks were led on offense by two hits off the bat of Rafalowski with a double from Fuehner.
Thomas fired a complete game in the circle giving up nine hits and four earned runs. She walked four and struck out nine.
Alton is 11-12 overall after the weekend and 4-6 in league play.
The Kahoks played Belleville East Tuesday however results were unavailable at press time.
Thursday they play at O’Fallon and tomorrow they travel to Triad.
On Tuesday they finish the regular season at Granite City.
