Kenneth ‘Kenny’ C. Kolb

Kenneth “Kenny” C. Kolb, 66, of Virginia Beach, VA, born Monday, April 29, 1957
 in East St. Louis, IL and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at
Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, MO. 


A devoted husband and father, he loved his family and enjoyed the
times they were together. He was a true St. Louis Blues and St. Louis
Cardinals fan. Kenny attended Bethel Baptist Church, Troy, IL until he
moved to Virginia Beach, VA, but remained strong in his faith by
attending Christian Embassy International Church, Chesapeake, VA. He
worked with his parents at Troy Heating and Cooling. This inspired him
 to open his own two successful businesses; Contractors Vacuum
Supply and Coastal Central Vacuum System.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Roma (Dour)
Kolb; brother-in-law, Ronald Biggs.


Surviving are his wife, Carmen (nee Velez) Kolb of Virginia Beach, VA;
his children, Jessica (Rick) Lull of Richmond VA, Kayla Kolb of Highland,
IL, Tiffany Reyes-Kolb and Angelina Reyes-Kolb both of Virginia Beach,
VA, Matthew James of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Kenneth
London Foxworthy, Bryce and Chase Lull; his sister, Drinda M. Biggs of
Troy, IL; Chris (Krystal) Fulton and many other nieces and nephews.
Beloved pet Bella-Lady of the Brownstone.

Visitation for Kenny will be 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, June 22. 2023 and
10 to 11 am on Friday, June 23, 2023 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy,
IL.


For those attending, show your honor while wearing St. Louis Blues,
Cardinals or casual attire.


Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Friday, June 23, at Richeson
Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Rev. Tim Lewis officiating. Interment in
Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
