Troy Seniors learn self-defense

As part of their Live and Learn Series, Troy Senior Center enjoyed a class on Senior Self Defense with Macy and Stephanie from Empowered Self Defense in Glen Carbon. Participants learned how to be aware of their surroundings, and how to defend themselves from both a standing and seated position. Live and Learn events are held throughout the year. The next Live and Learn is July 20th at 12:30 p.m. Marsha Griffin from the Attorney General’s Office will be here to discuss the most recent scams to be aware of. RSVP is required.
