A Madison, Illinois, man has been charged with felony exploitation of a child after allegedly masturbating at a Collinsville water park where children were present.

In a news release, the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office said it has charged 32-year-old Chad A. Green with sexual exploitation of a child and disorderly conduct. Bond is set at $50,000 and Green was in custody at the Madison County Jail as of Friday afternoon.
If Green posts bond, Associate Circuit Judge Ryan Jumper ordered he not be allowed to have contact with anyone under the age of 18-years-old.
According to the release, Green on Thursday engaged in an act of masturbation while in the presence of children at the Collinsville Aqua Park. Collinsville Police are investigating and ask anyone with information about Green or the incident to call 618-344-2131 or their local police department.
The charge of sexual exploitation of a child, which is the more serious of the two, is a Class 4 felony punishable by up to three years in prison, according to the release.
