5 Triad JV players At All Star Game

TROY — On Tuesday Feb. 6 at McKendree Rec Plex five Triad Hockey players have the honor to play for the Red JV All Star team. Players are chosen by coaches of all of the MVCH A hockey league.

For Triad, juniors Kyle Rogers and Jason LaRue and Alessio Saracino, sophomore Tyler Davis and Freshman Jacob Pershbacher were voted in. They will be on the red team with players from Freeburg Waterloo, Belleville, Columbia South, East Alton Wood River, Highland and Bethalto and Seckman. The blue team will be players from Collinsville, Columbia North, O’Fallon, Granite City, Vianney, Alton and Edwardsville North.

Triad JV hockey is getting ready for playoffs. Triad JV has a record of 13-8-2. Jacob Pershbacher is the top scorer for JV with 20 goals and eight assists. Vance Imboden, Tyler Imboden were in goal for most of the JV games. Evan Arana and Max Katich played some of the games. Evan also had his first JV goal against Granite City JV this season when he skated out. The first game of the best of three series will start on Saturday Feb. 3. Opponent was not known at press time.
