Troy Lions Club Scholarships available for Area High School Seniors

TROY — The Troy Lions Club is currently circulating applications for scholarships for high school seniors who live in the Tri-Township Park District. 

According to a Lions Club news release, this year the Troy Lions Club will award two $500 scholarships – one to a boy and one to a girl.  The scholarships may be used for any accredited college, university, trade, or business school.

To be eligible to apply, students must have parents/guardians who reside within the Tri-Township Park District.  Participation in the student’s school and community  service activities will be an important part of the application.  The selection will be made by the Troy Lions Club Scholarship Committee and will be awarded at the Triad Honors Night Ceremony.

Applications are available from the high school guidance department at Triad High School, Father McGivney Catholic High School, Maryville Christian School, and Metro- East Lutheran High School, as well as the Troy Lions Club.  Applications are also available from the Troy Area Chamber of Commerce and online at www.troycoc.com.
