Two-vehicle crash US 40, Triad Road leaves three people injured

A two-vehicle crash on US 40 at Triad Road near the new middle school on Jan. 31 left three people transported to an area hospital with injuries.

According to Illinois State Police Trooper Shafer McKune, Troop 8 responded to the above location at 3:07 p.m. for the report of a two-unit, personal injury traffic crash involving one vehicle which overturned.

Three occupants were transported to an area hospital with injuries. Lane closures were reported and all lanes of US 40 reopened at approximately 4:10 p.m. There is no further information available at this time.
