Triad High’s Additive Manufacturing Team comes home with third place, $2,500, new 3D printer for school
Triad High School’s Additive Manufacturing Team led by Dr. Andy Brendel and comprised of sophomore Caden Meier and juniors Chase Gregory, Owen Litteken and Jack Burrelsman, came away from The Project MFG Additive Manufacturing National Competition in Texas as Third Place National Champions. The boys earned a cash prize and a new 3-D Printer for Triad High School. The Triad Representatives put forth an amazing performance next to a technical school from Texas and the first place team from West Virginia University that was composed of college juniors and seniors.
Earlier this year in February, the Triad boys took first place in the regional qualifier held at Saint Louis University qualifying them for this National Competition.
