University of Maryland honors Saint Jacob student with Student Insight Council Volunteer Award

By Tribune Staff • During the 2025-26 academic year, University of Maryland Global Campus recognized Barbara Peterson of Saint Jacob for service on the Student Insight Council.

Volunteers play a vital role in shaping the UMGC experience by providing feedback that helps create a stronger future for the university community.

University of Maryland Global Campus was founded more than 75 years ago specifically to serve the higher education needs of working adults and military servicemembers.
