Lady Knights go undefeated at hosted Summer Shootout

Triad’s Lady Knights basketball team hosted its Summer Shootout sponsored by Scott Credit Union on June 24 at Triad High School and Silver Creek Elementary.

They took on four schools in a bracket-style tournament, with victories against Salem, Father McGivney, Harrisburg and O’Fallon.

Their summer ball schedule is now complete, as they competed in the Civic Memorial Shootout with a 2-1 record, the Effingham Shootout with a 6-0 record and wrapped up their offseason with a 4-0 record at their own shootout.

With their youth camp taking place during the middle of June, the Lady Knights are primed for a big season this winter.
