Firefighters Battle Blaze on Crystal Lane

Firefighters from Troy, Glen Carbon, and Maryville were called to a house fire on Crystal Lane, just north of Troy, late Monday. Emergency calls were place around 4:30 p.m. on May 13, with firefighters on the scene very quickly.

Severe smoke damage could be seen along the west side of the house.

Extra caution is urged along Riggin Road, while police direct traffic around the entrance.

A portable dump tank was set by the fire department to aid in getting water to the structure.
