Collinsville hockey off to fast start

The Collinsville club hockey team is off to a great 3-0 start in MVCHA play.
Alton
Collinsville hung on for dear life in this one to defeat Alton 5-4 on Nov. 10 at the McKendree Metro Rec Plex in O’Fallon.
The Kahoks had a 3-1 lead after one period and a 5-3 lead after two.
Bettis and Andy Bennett had two goals each while Denny added one more for Collinsville.
Edwardsville
Eric Denny registered a hat trick as the Kahoks erased a 1-0 deficit in the final two periods of play to defeat Edwardsville 5-1 at the Granite City Ice Rink on Nov. 7
Tanner Bettis added a pair of goals to the cause as well.
Schedule
Collinsville faced Granite City in Granite Monday night and faced East Alton (Wood River) Tuesday evening in East Alton. Game results were unavailable at press time.
Tonight they face Freeburg/Waterloo at McKendree. The puck will drop at 7:30 p.m.
