Clara E. Lang

Clara E. Lang, 84, of Cabot, AR, was born Monday, May 2, 1938, in Troy, IL, and passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, in Little Rock, AR. Clara was proud to serve her country in the United States Navy.  She was a life member of Cabot VFW Aux., Cabot, AR.  She enjoyed volunteering and supporting Toys for Tots, the USO, and Boys Town.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray Lang; a son, Michael R. Lang; parents Edward and Augusta (Hoenig) Maedge; her sister, Frieda Kuhn; and brothers, Charles Sr. and Edward Maedge.

She was survived by her children, Robert (Tae) Lang, Fayetteville, NC, Sabrina (Ford) Allen, Grafton, WV, and Vicki Bois of Spencer, MA; grandchildren, Clara T. (Robert “Bo”) Farish, Robert Lang Jr., Christina Rizzo, David (Elizabeth) Babin and Brandy (Jacob) Berube; great-grandmother, Hunter and Mathew Setler, D.J. and Paul Ray Babin, Corey and Brayden Berube; sisters, Ruby Schultze of Troy, IL, Jane Maedge of Troy, IL and Ruth Ann (Bob) Ostendorf of Addieville, IL; sister-in-law, Pat Maedge of Troy, IL many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation for Clara will be held from 10 to 11 am on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Friedens United Church of Christ, Troy, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Friedens United Church of Christ, Troy, IL with Rev. Phil Kershner officiating.  Interment will be in Hoenig Cemetery, Troy, IL
