The Troy/Maryville Chamber Foundation is proud to announce that five Triad students were each awarded a $1,000 scholarship. Congratulations to our 2023 Foundation Scholarship winners:

Sophia Sterling (attending Western Kentucky University)

Damon Willis (attending Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville)

Benjamin Winslow (attending University of Kansas)

Kaylee Broadfield (attending Missouri University of Science and Technology)

Katelyn Godell (attending Florida Polytechnic University) (not pictured)

The applicants went through an application process which included the initial application, current transcriptions, two letters of recommendation, volunteer examples and a written essay. This year the Chamber Foundation received more scholarship applications than any other year.

In 2022, the Chamber Foundation held two fundraisers that raised a total of $5,000. The first fundraiser was the Annual Fore! The Foundation Golf Scramble held in October. The second event was a concert featuring Country Award-Winning Artist Bryan White. The event was held at Time Out (Troy) in November.

The Troy/Maryville Chamber Foundation was established in 2017 as a way to provide scholarships to local students as well as funding for different school activities. The first year the Chamber was able to award one $500 scholarship. To date, the Chamber has awarded over $12,000 in scholarships.
