Kahoks soccer drops 1-0 contest to Maroons

The Collinsville girls soccer team dropped a 1-0 contest at Kahok Stadium to SWC foe Belleville West on March 26.

CHS outshot the Maroons by an 8-3 count but a late second half goal gave West the victory.

“We’re starting to press more as a team and we’re finally creating chances,” said CHS coach Jodie Munoz. “We had many goal scoring opportunities, we just didn’t finish.”

Upcoming Schedule

Collinsville hosted Alton Tuesday however results were unavailable at press time.

The squad travels to O’Fallon tomorrow evening.
