Maryville Firefighters’ Homecoming is July 12, 13

MARYVILLE — The annual Maryville Firefighters’ homecoming, with a parade theme this year of “Around the World,” will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 12 and 13. In addition to the parade, the event will feature carnival rides, food and refreshments, and bands throughout the weekend.

The parade will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday and 6 p.m. on Saturday. Anyone wishing to enter a float or another entry should contact Karen Burns of the Maryville Women’s Auxiliary at 314-703-0450.

Carnival ride advance tickets will be available until the start of the event. Tickets can be purchased at any of the banks in the Village or at city hall.

There will be music for listening and dancing pleasure. On Friday the bands will be the Heaton Brothers from 5 to 7 p.m. and ShotGun Creek from 8 p.m. to midnight. On Saturday, the music will be provided by Lanny and Julie from 4 to 6 p.m. and Blue Marlin Band from 8 p.m. to midnight.
