Communities encouraged to participate in St. Jacob and Jarvis Twp. Biking Surveys

There is still time for people to respond to a survey that will help determine the future of cycling in St. Jacob and Jarvis Townships. 

According to information provided by Oates Associates, they are trying to spread the word on a community biking survey that they are conducting to create a Bicycle Master Plan. A bicycle master plan is a document that outlines a city or region’s long-term goals for developing its bicycle infrastructure. These plans can include: bicycle paths, protected bike lanes, bicycle parking, and integration with public transit, according to online sources.

The Jarvis Township survey is titled “Jarvis Bike Plan Survey”, which can be found at  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/jarvisbikesurvey

The St. Jacob Township survey is titled “St. Jacob Township Biking and Walking Community Survey” People can participate in the survey by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/stjacobcommunitysurvey 

Each survey is listed at only a few minutes long. The surveys will close on Nov. 1.
