Kahok girls bowlers take down Alton

The Collinsville girls bowling team won their only match of the week via a 34-6 decision at Bowl Haven Lanes in Alton.

“Alton had beaten us at our house so we wanted to make sure we beat them at theirs,” said CHS coach Sean Hay. “This was later in the season so maybe our team was ‘ready.’ We did pretty decent but were able to get the win.”

Kellen Stephens led the way with a 637 series that included games of 242 and 203.

Alayna Lange rolled a big 223 game, Caici Buckman fired a 210 game while Laila Jaoko rolled a 205.

Upcoming Schedule

Collinsville traveled to Belleville East yesterday for a big conference matchup however results were unavailable at press time.

 After this, the Kahoks next match will be Day #2 of the SWC conference meet at Bel Air Bowl in Belleville.

CHS will host the IHSA Regional tourney on Feb. 8 at Camelot Bowl.
