Maryville Firefighters Going Bald for a Cause

The Maryville Firefighters will again play host to the St. Baldrick’s Fundraiser. Scheduled for March 22, 2025, the event features ‘volunteers’ getting their heads shaved to raise funds for childhood cancer research.

Maryville firefighters participate in the event each year, which is a nationwide fundraiser. But anyone can join in the day’s fun by soliciting sponsors for your ‘team.’ Sponsors make a pledge and when you are completely shaved at the event you will collect the tax-deductible sponsorship fees.

The day’s event, to be held at the Maryville Fire House, runs throughout the day and includes live music, entertainment, food and raffle opportunities along with some stories of hope and resilience from former cancer patients.
