Stolen Glen Carbon Public Works truck found in North St. Louis County
By Kathy Turner • Public works employees in Glen Carbon returned to a pickup truck that they had left near their work site on Village Drive only to find the truck gone. The incident happened on July 16.
An employee immediately pulled up an app on his phone and was able to track the location of the truck’s GPS. They relayed the information to the police, who located the truck in North St. Louis County.
The truck, a 2023 Ford F-150, was returned immediately. According to Public Works Director Scott Slemer, it had two flat tires but only minimal damage.
