Collinsville introduces new finance director

City Manager Derek Jackson introduced Mark Miles as Collinsville’s newest city employee during the July 22 city council meeting.. Miles will serve as the city’s finance director. 

Miles has 30+ years in the public sector and non-profit accounting field. He has served 20 years as a certified public accountant (CPA) and also is a certified management accountant (CMA) and certified financial manager (CFM). He joined the city’s office on July 14. 

“I come from an organization that was very family oriented, and I feel that same spirit and culture here,” Miles said during the meeting.
