Street crack, joint sealing project begins in Troy on Aug. 25

The City of Troy will conduct crack and joint sealing on various streets beginning the week of Aug. 25, 2025. This work is vital to pavement preservation. This is a “rolling operation” and partial lane closures will occur. Caution should be taken if you encounter the crack/joint sealing crew. Avoid driving over fresh material until the lane has re-opened. Children and pedestrians should also avoid the work zone. The following streets will be affected in the first round of work, with no parking permitted from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Aug. 29:

Orchard Ct.; Quail Run; Whip Poor Will St.; Forest Ct.; Thrush Ct.; Clarence Ct.; Graythorn Ct.; Red Bird St.; Wood Thrush St.; Meadowlark St.; Bluebird Ln.; Dorothy Dr.; Jane Circle; Fulham Ct.; Chickadee; Mockingbird St.; Franklin Ave.; Goldfinch Ln.; Tramore; Gliddon Blvd.
