The Collinsville girls’ volleyball team had three wins over the past week.
CHS beat Maryville Christian, Granite City and Cahokia to raise its record to 15-10 overall on the season.
The week
The Kahoks beat Maryville Christian 25-17, 25-20 on Oct. 2 in the annual Pink Out contest at Fletcher Gym.
The loss dropped MCS to 12-6 on the season.
CHS beat Granite City in three sets on Sept. 30 by a 22-25, 25-22, 27-25 margin.
The Kahoks beat Cahokia 25-10, 25-10 on Sept. 29.
Collinsville faced Belleville East at Fletcher Gym on Oct. 7, however, results were not available at press time.
On Oct. 10, they host Edwardsville.
CHS travels to East S. Louis on Oct. 14.
Cross-country
Collinsville took part in the Collinsville Invitational on Oct. 1.
While the squad took 16th place, Kahok Ryelin Judiscak was 29th out of 152 runners in the three-mile race. She ran a time of 23:08.00.
Kaylah Harris was 68th at 24:54.20 with Eden Malo coming in at 110 with a time of 28:21.80.
Ivanna Torres and Sadie Demick again finished together with Torres running a 29:57.10 with Demick going 30:04.90.
Emberlie Goins of Triad won the race with a time of 19:45.80. Samantha Cook of Oakville, Mo. was the runner-up at 20:46.00.
Highland won the team title with 50 points with Triad 10 points behind.
Breese (Mater Dei) was third at 65.
Collinsville was at the Madison County championships in Troy on Oct. 7.
They are at East Alton (Wood River) Oct. 11.
